In today's episode, divorce coach Jennifer Connor talks feelings.

She walks you through identifying your emotions and explaining how all of your feelings and emotions come from thoughts that are cropping up in your brain in response to an event.  Events are always neutral. But your emotions can range from good to bad and everything in between.

Jennifer will then walk you through identifying your top 3 emotions or feelings, and how to manifest them into your everyday life by changing your thoughts.

Episode Quotes:

It's pretty fascinating stuff that something brand new can eventually become your new default, and it gets assigned to the permanent brain to be a rinse and repeat. So, if there's something right now that you don't like because you're primitive brain is still trying to keep you safe and not letting you change; you just know that they're there will come a day that if you put in the work that the new habits or the new thoughts or the new patterns are actually going to be.

So this week we're going to talk all about all the fields talking about your emotions or your feelings. Now first I want to explain the difference between feelings and as the emotion and feelings meaning a physical sensation when I use the word feelings I am nine point nine times out of ten talking about emotions.

Just know that every feeling comes from a thought. So if you're mad at your ex it's from a thought. If you're frustrated with the court system it's because of a thought. If you're sitting at home sad and lonely on a Friday night it's because of a thought.

Today is gonna be all about identifying what you feel and how that affects everything else in your life. There's a huge range of emotions and a lot of people imagine them kind of on a scale of good to bad with kind of a neutral in between or from bad to good with a neutral in between.

How would the results change for your life if you were to change the top three feelings?!

I'm Jennifer Connor, and I'm on a mission to help divorced women stop looking back and start living their own damn lives!

When I went through my own divorce, I discovered that the "help" that was out there was either very heavily based on dragging up the past OR slapping a positive affirmation on top of every shitty thought.

Uh, no thank you. Hard pass.

I knew there had to be a better way:

A way for people like me - driven, high-achieving women who were ready to conquer this "divorce thing" once and for all - to stop focusing on the past and start building a genuinely fun, incredible life NOW. A way for us to heal and move on without freaking CRYING every single day.

Heck, throw in some laughs, and you've got me totally sold!

That's when I discovered a method that did ALL of that.

And the rest was magic. (like, Hermione magic, not crappy Ron magic)

Today, everything I do is with the sole purpose of helping other women use my coaching method and tools to create a life and future they LOVE.

If you're ready to capture some of this magic for yourself, hit me up!

Women are moving on and upgrading their lives every day. It's YOUR turn now.

Episode Homework:

Name your top three daily emotions. Once your top three emotions are picked jot down why these three feelings came to the surface. Would you change your feelings or emotions and if so why? Lastly dive into how your results would change if your feelings would change.
